Skilled Migration Visa Types
Subclass 189 - Skilled Independent

Subclass 190 - Skilled Nominated
For skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. Receive 5 bonus points.
Subclass 491 - Skilled Regional
Provisional visa for skilled workers willing to live and work in regional Australia. Pathway to PR after 3 years.
How the Points Test Works
You need a minimum of 65 points to be eligible for an invitation
25-32 years: 30 points | 18-24 or 33-39 years: 25 points | 40-44 years: 15 points
Superior: 20 points | Proficient: 10 points | Competent: 0 points (minimum required)
8+ years in Australia: 20 points | 8+ years overseas: 15 points | Combination possible
Doctorate: 20 points | Bachelor/Master: 15 points | Diploma: 10 points

Receive Invitation

Lodge Application
Submit visa application within 60 days of invitation with all supporting documents.
