The Migration Innovation Northern Territory (MINT) program is a unique pathway to Australian Permanent Residency supported by the NT Government.
What is the MINT Program?
The MINT program is a joint initiative by the Darwin Innovation Hub and Paspalis Asset Management, with special support from the Northern Territory Government.
It offers a streamlined pathway for skilled migrants to secure Australian permanent residency (190/491 visas) by contributing to the NT's innovation ecosystem.
This program does not accept individual applications. All applications must be lodged through an authorized Northern Territory Panel Agent like Golden Pathway.

Application Journey
Initial Assessment
Eligibility check, immigration plan development, and signing the placement agreement with AUD 40,802.30 fee.
State Nomination
Golden Pathway lodges the state nomination to MigrationNT within 60 days of signing.
Provisional Approval
NT Government reviews and issues a provisional nomination invitation.
Fund Investment
Applicant transfers AUD 590,000 investment into the PIIF fund within 30 days of approval.
Compliance Check
AML/KYC checks are performed (approx. 6 weeks) before formal nomination and EOI invitation.
Formal Nomination
Final state nomination issued. Prepare and lodge the 190/491 visa application within 60 days.
Visa Processing
Department of Home Affairs processes the visa application.
Visa Grant
